Source Of Energy

Energy is primarily considered as emanating from the North-East corner and many site and building characteristics are derived from this. Sites sloping down towards North or East from higher levels of South and West are considered good. Open spaces in site and openings in the building are to be more in the North and East than in the South and the West. No obstacles are to be present in the North and the East.

Magnetic Poles In Our Body

Human body itself acts as a magnet with the head, the heaviest and important part of the body, as the North Pole. If the head is directed towards the North while sleeping, the North Pole of the Earth and that of the Human Body repel each other affecting the blood circulation, causing disturbed sleep, tension and other connected problems.
It is well-established fact that nervous system of the human body communicates with the help of electric impulses, thus producing electro-magnetic field around the part of the body. Muscles also produce electrical potential. Activities of human body are primarily controlled by the electrical and chemical reactions inside the body. Any movement of charge, howsoever small, will produce electrical field around the direction of movement. Again any surrounding magnetic field will, thus have an effect on the electrical activities of parts of human body. Thus, the entire Human body is the net result of these tiny magnetic fields distributed within the human body, which is equivalent to a magnet matching the size of a human body. The heaviest and important part of the body (i.e. ‘Head’) behave as North Pole because ‘Head’ is the most powerful source of electric and magnetic fields in the organism and also that in the eye the magnetic field induction, is significantly higher than other parts of the body. Bedrooms should therefore, be designed keeping this in mind.

Vastu Shastra

VASTU SHASTRA: A LOGICAL AND SCIENTIFIC APPROACH

“This science is complete in itself. Happiness to the whole world it can bring,
All the four benefits it bestows on you,
Rightful living, money, fulfillment of desires and bliss,
Are all available in this world itself”
                    -Viswakarma in Vastu Shastra

Vastu is a logical explanation of scientific truths and facts. The Vastu Principles are related with the properties (Natural Energies) of our Mother Earth. . It simply says that the sources of energies are to be open and the flow of energies is not to be disturbed. Vastu Shastra prescribes desirable characteristics for sites and buildings based on flow of energy (‘Prana’ in Sanskrit). Many of the rules are attributed to cosmological considerations; the Sun's path, the rotation of the Earth, magnetic field, etc. The morning Sun is considered especially beneficial and purifying and hence the East is a treasured direction.
Vastu believes that there are essentially two types of forces, which are equal and opposite in nature. The interaction of these two forces is cosmic ordained and produces a third type of force, which is called ‘Bio-Force’ or ‘Prana’, needed for life to exist. One type of force is subtle and fine. The other is dark and dense. We, for understanding this subject, can call the first one as 'positive' and the other as 'negative'. 'Prana' is liberated by the interaction of these forces. Over the surface of the globe, these forces continuously interact, releasing bio-energy. When a structure is built over the surface of the Earth, it comes in the way of a natural interaction. Both the forces enter the structure where the interaction continues. However, the intensity of forces that enter the structure need not be the same. Depending on various factors like levels, water bodies, door placement etc., either the positive or the negative can have stronger presence.

If the structure is designed in a manner that the positive forces override the negative forces then there is a beneficial release of bio-energy, which helps all the inmates to be healthy. Even after such reaction with the negative forces, a positive Cosmic surplus is always present in such a structure, which is the ‘Supreme Being Himself’. In such an atmosphere, life is smooth and happy with everything in life coming your way without any great struggle. It is a happy and healthy life for all the inhabitants.
If on the other hand the structure is built in such a way that the negative forces override the positive then you have a weak bio-energy field which manifests as diseases in the occupants. The over bearing negative field makes your actions, efforts, thinking negative so that ultimately the whole life is ruined.
The science of Vastu guides you about the rules you have to follow so that the structure has a positive atmosphere.
By strictly following these Vastu Rules, Human Race can gain quite many benefits and live peacefully. In other words, Vastu rules instruct the ways to create buildings and ‘Living in Harmony with the Earth’.

Vaastu And Seven Chakras

The ‘Vastu Purusha Mandala’ also represents the subtle body with the ‘Seven Psychic Centers’ or ‘Chakras’.
The South-West corner (Nairitya) where the ‘Vastu Purusha’ has his legs corresponds to the ‘Muladhara Chakra’ and denotes the ‘Earth’ Principle. Just as the legs support the weight of the body, the base (‘Adhisthana’) for the ‘Muladhara’ should be stable and strong. Accordingly, the South-West portion of the building is the load bearing area; and should be strong enough to support heavy weights. Just as the feet are warm, the South-West cell represents warmth and heat; even according to the atmospheric cycles, the South-West region receives comparatively more heat.

‘Svadhisthana Chakra’ is in the lower stomach region near the kidneys. It is related to‘Water’ Principle (‘Jala’/’Apa’). On the ‘Vastu Purusha Mandala’, it is to the South and to the West. Therefore, the wet areas like bathroom etc. are recommended in the South or in the West portions of the building. It is for sewerage (‘Utsarjana’)

‘Manipura Chakra’ is at the ‘navel’ and relates to energy, ‘Fire’, or ‘Tejas’. While in the womb of the mother, the fetus is fed with the essence of food and energy through the umbilical cord connected with its navel. The ‘Vastu Purusha Mandala’ shows ‘Brahma’ at the navel of the ‘Vastu Purusha’. Further, the lotus is the base (‘Adhisthana’) of ‘Brahma’. Thus, navel connects ‘Brahma’ with ‘Jiva’ or ‘pinda’ or life. It is left open and unoccupied. The central portion of the building is to be kept open. It is believed that ‘Vastu Purusha’ breaths through this open area.

‘Anahata Chakra’ is near the heart. It is related to ‘Vayu’ (Air) regulated by lungs. The lung region of the’ Vastu Purusha’ should be airy.

‘Vishuddha Chakra’ is near the throat from where the sounds come out and reverberate in space. This region represents Space (‘Akasha’). The word ‘OM’ is uttered through throat. The echo of that sound vibrates in the hollow of the bone-box of the head and in the space in brain. The head of ‘Vastu Purusha’ is in the North-East corner (‘Ishanya’)

‘Ajna Chakra’ is between the eyebrows. This direction is related to open spaces(‘Akasha’). Atmospherically, North-East is cooler and so should be ones head. The prayer room (‘Devagraha’) is recommended in the North-East portion of the house.

Darshan Of Ranchod Of Dakor

Prof.Giridhar Shetty

Darshan of Ranchod of dakor

1)    The enchanting smile of Shree Ranchod dispels the misery of the devotees immediately.
2)    From the beautiful eyes rays of fathomless compassion emanate and instill lofty ideals in the minds of the devotee.
3)    The sandal paste applied decoratively on the forehead reminds one of righteous behaviour towards all living beings. Sandalwood though rubbed, burnt or pounded for medicinal or cosmetic purposes never looses its qualities and fills the atmosphere with fragrance.
4)    The golden crown on the head that it went thro’the process of heating, melting and beating. It goes thro’all these ordeals and emerges purer and brighter. The precious stone fixed each had to be cut, field and  carved to reach it bright shining state.
5)    The flute in one of the hands of Ranchod is raised to his life as it is most dear to the lord, just like his devotees.

The hollow instrument stores notting and gives out sweet notes when blown thr’o.
So a man must never store in his mind the acts of hostility done to him by others. He should also be completely free of egotism and allow the lord to speak and act thr’o him.

The garlands indicate to the devotee that they should fill the universe with the aroma of beneficient deeds. Individuals should unite ( like the different flowers coming together to form a garland) to render services to all creature

Shree Ranchod is very fond of sweets and butter. Indicating that the devotee should be soft hearted and sweet tounged.

The Tulsi leaves placed at the feet suggest that the devotee should be submissive to the Lord’s wish and have humility.

Narmada Parikrama

Prof.Giridhar Shatty

The Narmada Parikrama

The river Narmada has its source in the Amarkantak mountains in Madhya Pradesh. This river flows through 3 states- Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujaratha. It flows into the Arabian sea at Bharuch.

There are several sacred locations on both the banks. The trekkers (usually spiritual aspirants) trek the entire banks of the Narmada. It is a trek of 2200km. Nowadays the fastest trekkers take about of 3 ½ month to complete the entire journey, visiting each and every temple and ashram along the banks . Crossing the river by boat during the parikrama is not allowed.

This entire trek leads on to salvation is a belief held by people.

One meets saints, seers, common thieves, dacoits, generous people, barking dogs, wild animals, spiritual forces and grace, evil and black forces and a wide vaiety of problems like huger, fatigue, sickness during this trek.
